A training to deepen into the techniques and philosophy of Yoga. We will explore the Hatha Vinyasa style with two main objectives: personal transformation and developing the qualities of the Yoga teacher.

The 500 hours of training are distributed over one weekend a month during a year and a half. The weekends are residential to be able to experience the coexistence and the effects of a retreat in Nature. We will enjoy a delicious vegetarian, local and seasonal food.

Vinyasa Yoga · Asana Adjustments · Pranayama · Meditation · Philosophy · Thai Massage · Pregnancy Yoga · AcroYoga · Dance Yoga · Energy Mobilizations.

Who should attend the training?

This training is aimed at people wanting to deepen their personal yoga practice and its philosophy.

If your goal is to be a Yoga teacher, we will give you the necessary tools so you can guide your classes and accompany your students in their process.
If what you want is to expand your knowledge and your practice, we will guide you during 15 months looking for a progression with asana sequences, Pranayama techniques and meditations. We will give you tasks so that you work on your day to day, and progressively strengthen your self-practice.
If you have never practiced yoga but you have been thinking for some time that you would like to know and learn the fundamental principles on which yoga is based.

The training covers from the bases and foundations of yoga to the most advanced practices so that you can apply them in your personal sessions or your classes.

What’s so special about it?

At Omshanti we believe that yoga is a life journey. That is why we intend that this year and a half you can lay the foundations for a good practice and develop the necessary resources to fully explore the path of self-knowledge. Our work is based on the awakening of consciousness and we want you to know yourself better to feed your qualities and to find a way of thinking, speaking, acting and feeling harmonious.

This training provides all the tools to be a yoga teacher, leading classes in a professional way, with knowledge and safety. It will provide you a wide repertoire of resources and creativity so that you adapt them to the needs of each group and each student.

Each participant will find their own way to practice and live yoga.

What style of yoga will we practice?

The team members follow and practice the styles of Hatha Raja Yoga and Integral Yoga.

The posture sessions start with the Vinyasa Yoga style, a movement connected to the breath that intertwines postures to form a flow and create a meditation in movement, and ends with another more meditative part in which the postures (Hatha) are maintained a little more.

We will also incorporate dance, mobilizations and self-research practices of Integral Yoga. Expanding the practice of yoga beyond the mat with conscious movement, active meditations, chanting of mantras and group dynamics.

Where is the training done?

Omshanti, a privileged space in the middle of nature with views towards the Montseny Natural Park. The practice will take place in a spacious, warm and welcoming room where hundreds of students have already practiced with us. It has two wood stoves to work in the best conditions during the winter and all the necessary material for a good practice. The food is vegetarian cooked by the magnificent Omshanti residential cook.

The accommodation is in shared rooms and the house has a swimming pool, ideal for hot summer hours and a sauna for cold winter nights.

YOGIC PHILOSOPHY

Thankful to the masters, my parents and friends on the way they shared with me the luminous path of yoga from an early age. Also to Omshanti, for giving me the opportunity to accompany other yogis in their sadhana.

I try to integrate into your daily life some of the many aspects of the yogic tradition (tapas, Svadhyaya, Ishvara Pranidhana, ... with the rhythm, needs and imperatives of a modern family man. The presence of the Self in the everyday.

PREGNANCY, CHILDBIRTH & POSTPARTUM YOGA

When i teach yoga it’s like a good song: there is rhythm, movement, colors, senses and a creative spark.
I am part of your toolbox, I am a door to your wonderful inner world, I help you be aware of your actions, both physical (body and breathing) and mental (the whole river of thoughts that creates our brain).
I am dark and clear, of all shades and colors. I am aware that we can always be a bit better and that this is only possible by practicing and working. I need to laugh to feel alive.

I’m a mother, a fact that fills me with joy, love and tenderness. Thank you Alan and Ada for coming to our lives and for being and my masters!
