What’s so special about it?
At Omshanti we believe that yoga is a life journey. That is why we intend that this year and a half you can lay the foundations for a good practice and develop the necessary resources to fully explore the path of self-knowledge. Our work is based on the awakening of consciousness and we want you to know yourself better to feed your qualities and to find a way of thinking, speaking, acting and feeling harmonious.
This training provides all the tools to be a yoga teacher, leading classes in a professional way, with knowledge and safety. It will provide you a wide repertoire of resources and creativity so that you adapt them to the needs of each group and each student.
Each participant will find their own way to practice and live yoga.
What style of yoga will we practice?
The team members follow and practice the styles of Hatha Raja Yoga and Integral Yoga.
The posture sessions start with the Vinyasa Yoga style, a movement connected to the breath that intertwines postures to form a flow and create a meditation in movement, and ends with another more meditative part in which the postures (Hatha) are maintained a little more.
We will also incorporate dance, mobilizations and self-research practices of Integral Yoga. Expanding the practice of yoga beyond the mat with conscious movement, active meditations, chanting of mantras and group dynamics.
Where is the training done?
Omshanti, a privileged space in the middle of nature with views towards the Montseny Natural Park. The practice will take place in a spacious, warm and welcoming room where hundreds of students have already practiced with us. It has two wood stoves to work in the best conditions during the winter and all the necessary material for a good practice. The food is vegetarian cooked by the magnificent Omshanti residential cook.
The accommodation is in shared rooms and the house has a swimming pool, ideal for hot summer hours and a sauna for cold winter nights.
