Join Simon Park as he makes his first appearance at Omshanti Studio for this Teacher Immersion into the Art of Vinyasa Yoga. We will dive deeply into flow practice with detailed alignment, creative sequences, and freedom of movement. We will also look at the traditional roots of Vinyasa and the development into the modern flow style.  Simon's style called " Liquid Flow Yoga " is a multi-disciplinary system that allows each student and teacher to find their own voice and style within the great tree of Yoga. Simon has devoted the past 22 years to synthesize the great lessons and wisdom of his primary teachers; Shiva Rea, Maty Ezraty, Richard Freeman, Dharma Mittra and Joan White.

Continuously inspired by the ideals of Bruce Lee - "Learn the Principle. Abide by the Principle. Dissolve the Principle". The primary focus is to allow the teachings from the various traditions to evolve towards the needs of the student in the present moment by exploring relationships within the body rather than looking only at separate areas. This weekend Teacher's immersion will also have a strong emphasis on understanding Yoga as a healing practice; incorporating related traditions such as Thai Massage, hands-on assisting, reading the body in an energetic way, and therapeutic application of yoga asanas. The immersion is designed for teachers from all traditions of yoga and experienced practitioners.

A Vinyasa Flow practice that is a blend of classical and modern styles. Practice dynamic asana as a movement meditation in an open system that guides the student to feel the Yoga practice as an unscripted adventure. There is a focus on the inner workings of the breath on the body and mind; artful and creative transitions that add elegance to the flow of the practice. Alignment is detailed and energetic, yet adaptive for the individual practitioner. The principles of Vinyasa Krama are utilized to create an evolutionary practice that is appropriate for students of all levels.

Freedom on the Edge & Inversions + Arm Balances
Inversions and Arm Balances are a pure expression of creative energy flowing through the body. Experience fearless flying, pranic body of power, agility and lightness. Float effortlessly by integrating physical + energetic alignment, dynamic movement with bandha and intelligent Krama sequencing. Learn a pathway of flows within a powerful Vinyasa workshop so that you can evolve to enjoying handstands, inversions and flying transitions in the center of the room with creative energy and empowered vitality. This workshop is for all levels from adventurous beginners to handstand monkeys!

Hip & Shoulder Opening = Blissful Backbends
Backbends are a beautiful balance of grounding and rooting while learning to become fluid and receptive. Learn alignment principles, complementary hip + shoulder openers and the energetic keys towards simple and advanced backbends such as Raja-Kapotasana (King Pigeon), Naturajasana (Cosmic Dancer), Vrichikasana (Scorpion) and drop-backs. A full Vinyasa practice that contains a creative vinyasa krama progression of namaskars, standing poses, core integration, twists and inversions. Backbends without pain can be truly blissful!!

Liquid Flow Yoga & Restore your Prana
Enjoy a slowly developing, flowing sequence of postures that are fluidly powerful and energetically alive; a movement meditation for mental focus and overall lightness. Create space in the joints and spine, calm the nervous system and balance your energy. The asana flow is similar to the way tai-chi is practised; slow, methodical and meditative. The practice seamlessly integrates fluid namaskars, deep hip-openers, restorative twisting, back bending and calming forward bends. Experience an evolution toward blissful relaxation, pranayama and meditation.




Simon Park began his Yoga journey in 1995 with Shiva Rea in the World Arts and Cultures Department at UCLA. Later acclaimed by Yoga Journal as "one of the most influential and gifted Yoga teachers of the next generation”, he has been leading workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats around the world since 2002. His free-style Vinyasa is fluid, intuitive, and encourages freedom through self-expression. Profoundly influenced by the teachings of Shiva Rea, Richard Freeman, Maty Ezraty, Joan White, and Dharma Mitra, 'Liquid Flow Yoga' feels like a beautiful dance between classical and modern Yoga. Dubbed the "Flying Nomad", he draws inspiration from road legends such as Jimi Hendrix, who said, "the Earth is my home”.



Omshanti Yoga Studio

Omshanti is a reatreat center in a top of a hill 30 minutes north of Barcelona. IT's unique location makes accessible yet with the privilege of countryside and mountains views. Founded in 2005 by three siblings, Mireia, Wari and Pau Castellsague. Their life and love for yoga brings them together to expand and share the practice. In addition to building a local community through Omshanti they also travel, teach and are involved in many yogic projects worldwide.

There is a big yoga room with wooden floor and big large windows with views to a little forest and to the mountains. We hold 27 beds in shared rooms and 15 camping spaces. Vegetarian meals are served 3 times a day. We offer outside green spaces to chill or practice, swimming pool and a steam bath for 14 people.

This course will bring together 20 yogis from all over the planet. It will be a fantastic time for learning and be studying and it will also give us the opportunity to live and share in a community for 5 days. Omshanti is a beautiful house in the countryside surrounded by nature and offering a huge yoga shala, ideal for practising Yoga. On the other end, Omshanti is a humble and austere space with some limitations. We will be sharing practice space, meals space aThe Bedrooms are shared dorms of 3,4,6 or 8. If you need some privacy we have camping spaces and we offer mattress and bed sheets, or there is a nearby hotel we can book for you if you have a car to drive every day to it. and toilet space with the group.

DETAILS Wifi is also available. It will be a slow connection, good enough for you to check your emails. Full day Schedule - We recommend that you ‘unplug’ from the ‘outside world’ for 5 days. Please don't plan any additional activities during this time.

From Barcelona Airport "El Prat" > Recommended! > Take the free airport bus to TERMINAL 2 (T2). From there take any train that arrives because all of them will take you to GRANOLLERS CENTRE within 1 hour. That’s where we pick you up. Trains run every 30 minutes. The last one is around 11 pm.

From Barcelona city center: Every 25 minutes there is a train going to GRANOLLERS CENTRE from Barcelona and it takes around 30 minutes to get here. You have the right connection if you go to Barcelona Sants, Clot Aragó, Passeig de Gràcia or Sant Andreu Comptal (be aware there is also a Granollers Canovelles station, which is not the one we pick you up from).

From Girona Airport: If you fly to Girona Airport you will need to take a bus to Girona or Barcelona and after that take a train to Granollers Centre (it will probably be a 2hr+ trip)
